Determine the cause
A multidisciplinary team reviews whether the failure is ischaemic, valvular, electrical (dyssynchrony), congenital, or from cardiomyopathy — before choosing a path.

Cardiac resynchronization (CRT) re-coordinates the heartbeat, an ICD protects against sudden cardiac death, and CCM strengthens contraction when other options are exhausted.

Correcting the reversible cause — coronary bypass or stenting, valve repair or replacement (TAVR/TEER), or congenital defect repair.
LVAD · transplant
